Happy Saturday: Look! It's Gerard Butler, topless in his new movie

We love a celeb strip-off, especially when it's a hot man. So hello there, Gerard Butler, who's taken his shirt off for his new film, Playing For Keeps.
A new trailer for the film features Gerard as a sexy Scottish soccer coach who used to be married to Jessica Biel ( she got married this weekend! See what she had to say about the ceremony here ) and has a small cute son. The plot seems to be that he kisses Catherine Zeta Jones, is mates with Dennis Quaid, sits about in his pants and ... who cares, he's got no top on.

 

Jessica Biel's all hot and shiny haired, and Uma Thurman's in it too. We're not sure who she is, but the whole thing seems suitably soppy to take your parents to see over the Christmas holidays (it's out 7 December).
Gerard recently spoke out about his trip to the Betty Ford clinic rehab centre in February. He told US magazine Men's Journal: "I think, on a basic level, I have a pretty addictive personality, both good and bad," he said. Gerard hurt himself filming 2007 movie Shattered, and then again in 2010 filming Coriolanus. But he said he ended up taking a lot of pills for the pain when he almost died filming a surfing scene in December 2011 for film Chasing Mavericks. "I started taking more," he says. "And I started taking them very quickly." He confirmed he never had a full-blown addiction to painkillers but was worried that if he didn't go to rehab, it'd get out of hand.

 

He also says that he was upset when people speculated he was in rehab because of issues with his drinking. "That really pissed me off. I haven't had a drink in 15 years," he said.
Well, you don't look THAT good with your top off if dinner is six pints of Guinness every night, do you?
